Exalting every shade of our territory

Mastering the production technique of red musts and wine is not a random choice.

We always pointed on the exaltation of the shades of our land that, given its calcareous-clayish soil, awards to our wine a complex structure and refined olfactory sensations.

Our clients’ needs, even and more variegated, are an instrument of developing and renewal that makes us able to transform different grape types which sometimes require individual attention and ad-hoc manufacturing.

Our careful vineyards selection show some of Italian wine denominations by their official quality level designation such as:

Trebbiano is a wine variety with white berries widely planted in our territory.

The characteristic color of this wine is a very soft yellow, more or less intense with light shades of green that disappear in the age wine. It is well known for its clearness and fruity aroma (a mix of peach, banana, apricot).

At first, it tastes like a very fresh product with a well balanced alcohol content, something achieved thanks to the calcareous soil were it's grown. Its alcohol content goes from 11% to 12%.

Sangiovese

Sangiovese is a grape variety and the produced wine features an intense red ruby color.

Its taste remembers red and black fruits (black cherry, blackberry and plum). Sangiovese is particularly known for its modest acidity, that maintains the freshness and the scent through time.

Tannin compounds in this wine are very high gracing it with a rigid taste and structure. If the weather will help the quality, certain years we can reach 14% of alcohol content instead of the main 10,5%-11,5%.

Nero di Troia

Nero di Troia is a grape variety with black berries and a particularly thick skin.

The produced wine is famous for its deep red ruby color with purple shades. It has a very strong and alcoholic body.

Tannin compounds make this wine elegant despite of its taste being really intense. The aroma presents a flower-like scent with licorice and balsamic leaves. alcohol content ranges from about 12% to 13,5%.

Montepulciano is a grape variety that mixes different colorant compounds offering intense shades.

The characteristic color is dark ruby red or red purple. Scent profile is well-known for its similarity with black/red berry fruits, in particular cherries, plums and blackberries.

Montepulciano wines have a very strong structure full of tannin compounds that assure fullness and balance alcohol content goes from 12% for the base production to the 14% for specific production.

Merlot

Merlot is a grape variety with particularly acid compounds, a modest quantity of tannins and a good percentage of alcohol.

These three characteristics give an harmonic and soft taste to the wine. A ready to drink Merlot generally has a shiny red ruby color, sometimes with purple shades. The aroma changes according to harvest time: the wine, after almost-complete grape maturation smells like red pepper while after a complete one offers a mature scent less herbaceous like blueberry, blackberry, cherry and plum.

We try to maintain the alcoholic graduation between 12,5% and 13,5%.

Lambrusco

The “Lambrusco” planted in Apulia is a black grape variety with thick skin mainly known for their resistance and late maturation.

Tannins and polyphenols are responsible for the red ruby color with purple reflections. It is a wine with a strong complex structure, with intense floral scents of strawberries, cherries and quince.

Our production aims to realize wines with 12,5% to 14,5% alcohol content.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is a grape variety with a skin full of colorants compounds whose subsequent transformation gives the produced wine a deep red ruby color with clear shades of purple-red.

The skin, the tannin compounds and the relevant acidity levels guarantee a product with a rigid structure, apreciable astringency and high alcohol percentage.

It's scent is marked by black-berry fruits, tomato leaf and red pepper that become softer during maturation leaving only spices and licorice.

Our goal is to achieve an alcohol content between 12,5% and 13,5%.
